Saw an old post from 2017 using Davinci Resolve, but importing aaf into Resolve is not working...

In Resolve 17 and later, in the Edit page do File>Import>Timeline, select file type AAF.

Never used resolve before. The import into Resolve worked, but I can't find a way to "render the clips to QuickTime." I CAN export the timeline as FCPXML (or FCPXMLD?) but then can't import the FCPXML into FCPX...if that's the way you're supposed to do it (as explained in the 2017 post).
