duplicated verticals not showing after moving postion...

Hi, 
Hope you are all well! I'm stuck on something. I have a vertical video and looked up some ways to do something interesting to get rid of the black side bars. Trick is to copy the footage twice, move it to the sides and blur it.
I do all the moves from the tutorial but when I press done all I see is still the black side bars?? Is there a setting I'm missing??

Hi Niel,

it looks like your project isn't 1920x1080 but 1080x1920, and your footage has the same resolution.

If you want to achieve the same idea as the YouTube screenshot 1 attached, you need to chance the resolution of your project to 1920x1080. Then you can try and do what I think you are trying to do. Or you can use something like this too, haplugs.wordpress.com/portfolio/free-vertical-blurred-clone/

Thank you! I changed the resolution and could now make the two copies and see them. Blur effect on and done! Thanks again
