FCPX imports original media as Low resolution

FCPX imports original media as Low resolution was created by lukeyo
Weird issue just cropped up.
FCP 10.6.5, on Ventura. Camera is C70 shooting X-AVC 4k
After importing from Camera card, my Original media is H.264 2160 X 1080p -
and I confirmed this in the Finder too.
Thoughts?
And any help on how to reconnect direct from card without losing existing edits (I only noticed the issue after a bit) would be very welcome thank you!
