Any news on how Apple is fixing the issue that occurs starting FCPX and stalls while scanning the AU plugins btw. It does this with order FCP versions as well.

The problem seems to have originated in the 13.3.1 update. The security nature of the the 13.3.1 update may have triggered the validation issue in FCP. You might want to try the 13.4 public beta and see if the problem is addressed.
