I can't be the only one having this issue - I fit a video into a frame by putting a Shape (from Generators) above the video and put the blend mode to "Stencil Luma", and then put them together in a compound clip. Then I put a video/img behind this framed video, and the brightness of the background img affects the brightness of the video in the frame.

So a white background makes the framed video brighter. The opacity it set to 100% on the Compound Clip, as well as the video and frame (Shape) inside the Compound Clip. I can't think of anything else to try, I worked on color correcting the video before putting it in a frame, and now it's all washed out by the bright background, which shouldn't be affecting it since the video is supposedly fully opaque.

I feel like people had to have run into this problem before, but I can't find any mention of this issue or its solution. Help pls
