Old Transitions Pack: Only 4:3?

I have some old package of transitions that are pretty cool and are working with actual version of FCPX but when I apply it on a 16:9 video, or a different format like 2400x1028, these transition works only on a 4:3 part of the screen. It's like there is some "area limit" to be set but on the inspector menù there is no setting selecting these transitions.

Maybe there is a way to edit manually these files to correct this area limit?

You might be able to open them or a copy in Motion and change the project properties.

Hi Tom. I did it.
I opened in motion one transition with this issue.
Then I changed the aspect ratio with 4k resolution and now on FCPX the transition is changed. But this problem in part remains because I'm working on a different aspect ratio. I'm on 2400x1028 so the transition covers more space now... but not all.
Some other transitions as the default one of FCPX, are able to fit the aspect ratio in every situation. Which parameter I have to change to enable this option for these transactions too?

I don’t know how these transitions work specifically, but generally if you make the project the largest size 4K Digital Cinema it works for most situations.

Which transitions specifically are you referring to?
