I have a 16" MBP M1Max. I've connected to 4K screens. One in HDMI-output and the other one through USB C. When I use the HDMI connected as AV, the Viewer, which is shown on the other 4K screen (USB C), flicker. Is it a Final Cut Pro bug or are there a solution for this? I run the HSMI connected monitor In both 50 and 60Hz with the same result in the viewer.

It may be an issue with your USB video adapter.
Do you have a Thunderbolt 3/4 to HDMI or DisplayPort cable to test with?

No I don't. I have everything connected directly in my MBP.

Hey knesaren,
I've got a few questions:
1. You have one monitor connected to the MBP via HDMI -> HDMI, correct?
2. Can you select the USB-C monitor as AV out? If so, what happens to the flicker?
3. What are you using to connect the other monitor? Is it a USB -> HDMI cable? Is it active / passive? What brand / model?
There are a LOT of garbage adapters, and you don't know they're trash until you test with something known to be good, and I wouldn't assume a bug in FCP until we can assess your signal path.
