I cropped a map and marked a couple places on it with Photo's Markup feature. It looked fine in Photos, but when I tried to use it as a clip in FCP it used the original unmodified photo! I tried exporting it, but FCP considered it a duplicate. No improvement.
Finally I had to make a Screenshot of the view in Photos, and import that into FCP.
Surely there's a better way to mark up or crop in Photos for use in FCP!
How?
