Can I import a PNG file as a title safe overlay? was created by oxband
I'm working with a broadcaster who has specific requirements for subtitle placement, and they sent me a graphic of their title safe zones. Can I import this into FCP and use this rather than the default option for the title safe overlay?

Assuming it has transparency, in the Viewer's View menu select Choose Custom Overlay and point it to the PNG.
