When would one use EQ in the "Audio Enhancements" section vs Channel EQ Plug-in was created by Skippermark
Hi. I'm curious why someone would use the EQ in the Audio Enhancements section and not use the Channel EQ plug-in. Would it be when wanting to do a quick, random adjustment?
I ask because I used to use a video-style mic exclusively for videos and any voice overs if needed, but I recently purchased a studio mic for voice overs, and they sound quite different. I expected this and immediately created a Channel EQ preset, and while they don't match perfectly, the difference is much less drastic and is acceptable to me now, and I hope to my viewers too. I probably could have left it as is, but I'm kind of OCD about this type of thing and can't stand seeing (hearing?) videos where the sound jumps all over the place.
That said, I'm curious what purpose the Audit Enhancement EQ since it offers fewer options and can't save presets. Thanks!

The options are just starting points. If you click the little icon next to the dropdown on the right, it'll open up the EQ panel and you can make whatever adjustments you like. You can also copy/paste to other similar clips.
I use it when I've got one-off material from random sources. In your case, you're setting up a preset for your main all-the-time mic, which is exactly the scenario you'd want to do that for.
