Keywords VS Events

Keywords VS Events was created by Albo
I have read (on Fcp.co) that using keywords was an efficient way to work on an edit.
I did use events but for this latest project I have only used keywords.
Works fine and no slowdown.
I heard that having a lot of keywords might slow down FC.
In an average workflow Is there a keyword limit ?
Is it the same with using a lot of events.
I did search the forum but nothing came up.
Thanks.
