Has Adobe screwed up Frame.io?

Has Adobe screwed up Frame.io? was created by BStoddard
I've been on Frame.io since October 2018 with a plan that has been upgraded over the years to what is now called Professional. (Not the Pro plan that is advertised on the website). It includes 1 team member (me) and 25 collaborators, 50GB of storage for $25 per mo. After spending an hour with "Chat" support, I find that the new pans since Adobe, include only one user and there is a fee for every user you add. This could get expensive! Now, on the website, under pricing, it shows that the plans include multiple users. Be aware! Apparently that is not the case. Someone correct me if I am wrong or just chatted with an incompetent support tech. Love Frame.io, but it looks a mess after Adobe ate it up. Integration with FCP is workable, but the integration with Premiere really sucks in my opinion.

I get it free with my Adobe CC account now (2 users, 100gb). You have to sign in to Frame.Io using your Adobe account. If you are using the same email with an existing Frame account, it won't work and you'll have to change your frame account to a different email address and then sign up via your Adobe email (it will be a new frame account though).

Considering some users do not have Adobe CC.
I would say yes, Adobe is using frame.io to get more independent Editors over to Adobe CC!
Our company actually looking into alternatives to frame.io for financial reasons.
We will see what will come!

Big companies often destroy good SMEs once purchased. Sad to see it's happening with Frame.io too.
