Any good Skin Fix/Smoothing plugins for Final Cut - M-series chip optimized? 07 Feb 2023 16:43 #124014
I used to use a plugin on my iMac Pro to help smooth skin for the times someone thinks they look a little too wrinked or if we don't have a make up artist. I'm wondering if anyone has come across any good plugins that work with M-series chips? The one I used to use doesn't work on my new Mac Studio.
Thanks for any recommendations you might have! |

Technically the best product is Imagenomic Portraiture for Video. I used it a lot on Intel, but had various issues with poor support. Once it got deactivated, and (despite multiple requests from my end) it took them weeks to respond and fix it on their end. It is a superb product, but the customer support was very bad. Not just this one case but multiple interactions where they would bad-mouth Apple while offering feeble help. Note I had a paid monthly subscription -- this was not a one-time purchase. When you pay every month, you expect support.
Since then, I have used Digital Anarchy's Beauty Box. It is not equal to Portraiture, but it's pretty good, and they have excellent customer support. I have emailed the company president and gotten a personal response within an hour. It is native Apple Silicon: digitalanarchy.com/beautyVID/main.html |
