I am not finding a way to lock a title text (i.e. date) to a specific photo. This presentation video involves numerous photos that will be displayed for varying amounts of time. Having the two items locked or grouped would make editing simpler.

The only thing close seems to be a compound clip. But that would cause problems with multiple photos having the same date.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please post screenshots of the project and Viewer that show what you’re doing.

Kind of similar to what was done here. Slide scans (titles in your case) with notes on mounts. Secondary storyline is locked to main storyline. Compound clip doesn't change a thing. Individual notations (titles) stick to relevant slide. Everything doesn't get tagged "Mommason walks..." (or a singular date watermarking the photo) the moment it gets compound clipped.
