What do i use to get the effects used in this video

I m interested in learning how to do the effects used in the below video the strobe effect I got but the one that makes clips seem to jump out

You mean stobing between clips two clips? Several ways. In FCP X, you'd stack one on top of the other, and use the blade to cut away what you didn't want from the top one.

In Motion, you stack them, and use something like a blink behavior on the top one. Or use an audio parameter behavior on the Opacity of the top clip.

I think he is talking about the video coming to the forefront as seen at .13. Looks like it might be scaled and keyframed.

Yes, two copies stacked, top copy has a mask, and the Scale parameter keyframed.

I'd still do that in Motion. I'd stack copies obviously, but put the audio parameter behavior on the scale paremter, and keyframe my opacity and position where I'd need them through the shot.

I kind of figured that as far as a making it jump out but how do u do it in sections..... I guess cropping ? Also wondering has any1 made a preset to this effect

Thanx guys I figured it out its basically a mix of scale effect using bpm and screen splitter or atleast that's how I achieved it
Still wish there was a pluggin or template for it
Maybe I'm just lazy lol :lol:
