I know nothing

I know nothing was created by NoIdeaPal
I've been doing music production for almost 20 years but have no idea about video production, having only used Final Cut in a few projects a few years ago.
What I am trying to do:
Demoing presets I created for a synth using two camera angles (Go Pro Max / iPhone) and the audio from the synth going directly into my DAW.
Problem 1:
I need to create a Multicam with the two videos, but the Go Pro footage is split into 7 different videos. I'm assuming I need to combine these videos into one before multicamming?
Problem 2:
The iPhone footage is super bright so I have to apply that HDR plugin to convert the format. Do I have to export the video as a different video and then import it back into the project? Or can I apply the effect without having to export first?
Problem 3:
The audio from the synth into my computer is clean (it is recorded via audio cables into an audio interface). The audio from the videos is not clean (it has coughs, noises, etc.). How can I sync the clean audio (which is the audio I want to use) with the two videos? When I tried, I could only get the videos to sync - the clean audio track did not sync.
Problem 4:
The file sizes of the original footage is about 60 GB total. However, I am waiting now for over an hour for the import to complete to an external 7200 rpm USB 3 drive. The file size so far for the library is showing 300 GB. What is going on? Why is the file size so gigantic? Why can't I just edit at the original size?
Problem 5:
The GoPro footage I believe is 59.67 FPS or something like that (don't know why). The iPhone's is 60 FPS. The GoPro is 2k, the iPhone is 4k. Any foreseeable issues? I want the final video to be 4k 60fps.
I have a Mac mini M1 16 GB/ 1TB
Using external seagate 6TB Usb 3 drive for library
Please help!

The final library is size is 430 GB (WTF!!)
I compounded the Go pro footage into one. Then I tried the multimode thing with the other video and it was stuck at like 20% syncing for 30 minutes and I just tried to cancel and it's been cancelling for 15 minutes. Maybe I should stick to audio, this video shit is crazy.

Most likely you had optimize media turned on when you imported. Switch that off. Select the library and use Delete Generated Library Files to get rid of them. If you have trouble with playback create proxy files instead.

Nope. After import, you only have to assign (camera)'Angles' - then FCP will do the rest, e.g. synching, automatically. Any serious tutorial about Multicam will tell you.

Really? That’s great. I read about assigning camera angles to separate camera footage. No videos I’ve watched seem to mention what to do when the same camera angle/ source is broke up into multiple clips.
