I know we can fast forward, rewind, pause with the J, K, L keys
But I am looking to skip forward, while the clips are playing (about 5 or 10 seconds). Basically what youtube allows you to do by using the left and right arrow keys.

You could:
1/ Toggle with J/L and SHIFT+RIGHT 10 frames to right, SHIFT+LEFT 10 frames to left.
2/ Add markers in the clip and jump between them while playing with shortcuts. You can also check the markers in timeline Index

The best device for scrolling in the timeline is a tour box (you can also use it with other apps)
