Interesting!. Audio recorders and cameras usually store sound files at 24 bits. The audio libraries included in FCP are 24 bits. Most A/D converters used in recording studios work at 24 bits. The audio files that are exported in AAF from FCP with X2PRO are 24 bits. 32 bits are really only useful for sound post-production in DAW

Hi,
Also wondering. If I have a 16 bit sound file on the timeline will my export all be downgraded to 16bit ?
Will my 24 bit files remain 24 bit ?
Thanks.
