How to show embed captions in fcp was created by knn20000

I have a .mp4 file that already has embedded captions, but when I import the media into fcp there is no caption. The caption is turned on before the import. Here is the image with the captions in quicktime player.

. Under "roles" there is no "caption". Is there a setting I have to turn on or something, I've never dealt with a video that had embedded captions before.

Captions are a separate file from your video.

You can bring captions into your FCP project:
