Hi Everyone,

I Recorded audio to my red komodo with the Sennheiser G4 Lav. External channels are 3/4 and both were receiving a signal and levels looked fine. When I important into FCPX, the audio shows in mono.. Maybe it was my Komodo settings, but I had it set to external audio, so there shouldn't of been an issue. I figured it was recording in stereo as both channels were receiving signal.Excuse my lack of knowledge if the S G4 only records in mono, but is there something I'm missing?Thanks everyone

Yes, G4 lav is mono. Camera may have been set to record mono signal to two channels (common on many cameras). This setup is often used where one channel is attenuated, so that brief loud sounds won't be clipped (or is less likely).
