using older FCP files in new FCPX program

I am in the process of updating FCPX software on a new Macbook air.  Everything works on the new computer with the new software except I have a file of little animated price graphic that I would like to still use. Is there a way to access these elements so I can import them into my new FCPX 10.6 ? 

If you've got a legacy Final Cut project file that you'd like to use, the way I do that is to open it in FCP 7, export an XML of the edit, and convert that XML file to .fcpxml with an app called SendToX. You could also bring the XML file into DaVinci Resolve and export the .fcpxml

Unfortunately, there isn't any way to import the old project files directly.
