Here’s my review of Colourlab Ai. Artificial intelligence for pro color grading with FCP.digitalfilms.wordpress.com/2022/09/28/colourlab-ai/

Colourlab.ai sounded really great to me. Unfortunately immediately on startup on a brand new macbook air m2 the player window is flashing, its like a white transparent overlay appearing and disappearing randomly only in the player window. Support is not able to help and they say it must be a transparency setting on my mac, which clearly isnt. Does anyone have a solution or the same issue? It doesnt matter if a project is opened or not, its always only the player window in the upper left corner of the UI.

Really strange.. If I connect an external monitor and use it as the main monitor while the screen is mirrored on my MBP, the flickering of the playback window stops.. Maybe there is some variable framerate on the MBP which causes the flickering when its running on its own clock. I cannot see an option to set it to a fixed framerate anymore.. Anyways, I added a final cut timeline and it took every clip beginning from its starting timecode, not from the edited timecode, and all the clips are massively oversaturated, even without any camera lut applied. I am not sure if this tool is ready for primetime.. there is no real support and no forum where you can look for help..

Wish they would make GrainLab available for FCP as well!
