When creating AAF from FCP-project, the voice overs recorded in "Record voice over tool" are not included in the AAF-file. I have done this numerous times before through the years without any big issues. On my last two projects this happens. I´m working on a new MacBook Pro (M1 Max, 64 GB memory, Mac OS Monterey 12.4), using X2Pro Audio Convert for the AAF export. The AAF is used by the sound engineer in Protools. All good there except for the voice overs. Anyone have a clue?

What role audio did you assign to voice over recorded? Is this role displayed in the X2Pro window?

I assigned it audio role "Speaker".

Yes it's displayed in the Share window.

I assume that X2pro proceeds to export the embedded file without errors, right?
Are other roles exported with the AAF file? And are these roles imported into protools correctly?

Yes, it simply handles everything correct, apart from the these files. It doesn't handle them at all.

Surprising because X2Pro is a very solid app. I'm going to do some tests with voice over to see if I can reproduce this problem.

Thanks, looking forward to see if you can find anything!

One odd thing I just found out is that when looking/listening to the files in the event viewer it says 6ofps, allthough everything I handle is 25p. Does that mean anything? In the Inspector it doesn't say anything about frames.

Hi Lars
I have edited in FCP a small timeline with dialogs, music, effects and... voice over. I've exported audio roles with X2Pro, and I've imported the AAF file in Nuendo. All audio roles were imported correctly included voice over track. I honestly don't know what may be happening in your case
