Getting rid of backround noise"Audio" FCPX?

Hi! Im new at this forum.. and i have used premiere pro for some years. but after switching to macOS i see the fcpx gives me more stability when editing.

So im pretty ok with the program. But i dont understand how its possible to get rid of the backround noise.
so what i have been trying so far.

- Making sure the recording enviroment is quiet as possible. 
- Have used a compressor and a limiter on the audio
- also EQ and dragged down the left and right side to get rid of "backround noise"
- have been trying the built in "noise remover" problem with that one is that it destoys the sound in my voice aswell.

So if someone have a good tip to get rid of backround noise and still keep the "richness" of your voice aswell.
I have a work-around right now but recording the audio separate and then into audacity and removing it there is so mutch extra.. is it anyting im missing?

If you got any plug-in rec or a tip that makes it easy to fix audio in FC i would appreciate it!

Voice isolation in FCP 10.6.2 and later: 

Voice isolation is amazing. I have to deal with narration recorded in a moving vehicles. VI makes it quick and easy to the initial clean up.

Exactly what i was lookin for ☺️
