Pictures edited in PHOTOS show correctly in viewer but revert to original (unedited) when placed on timeline. Any idea why and how to avoid this ?

The edited image has to be exported out of the Photos library first to a local storage location.

That's what I have been doing, but that exporting kind of defeats the advantage of having direct access to PHOTOS in the FCPX app.

Well, I tried to move the thumbnail (edited in Photos) to the sidebar event like they say in RippleTraining video and IT DOES NOT WORK. The picture is transferred but all the editing, cropping, etc is gone. The picture is back to the original. So, as Tom said, I have to export again from Photos and import again in FCPX. So much for Apple apps integration ! It worked in the past and you could access any of your Photos Libraries (the one last open), now you only have access to the System Library. Looks like th FCPX developers are moving backwards.

Yes, it’s broken in 6.4 but worked in 5.4.
