No alignment for Subtitles?

I feel like I'm going out of my mind...

Using a "centered" title in FCPX, I note that I can adjust the Alignment for Line 1, but Line 2 seems to be missing. I can't seem to get the Line 2/subheading line on ANY title to allow me to change the alignment, forcing me to manually move and adjust the text.

Am I insane? I'm on the latest FCPX. When did this drop away? It's such a headache and wasn't an issue on my older macs which no longer get updates to FCPX.

You have to double-click the clip in the timeline and then use the on-screen controls to select each line of text. When you click in line two, the controls in the inspector should reflect that you are now affecting the second line of text. Yeah, it can be a bit confusing...

Cheers.

Oh hell.

The text box was too tall and the adjustment to shrink the text box in the inspector was under my timeline. I made my timeline smaller in height and there were the controls.

I feel like a moron. Thank you for your screenshot. It made me realize what was actually going on.
