Faded Clips in FCPx 06 Jul 2022 00:20 #121244

Hi guys, what does it mean when a clip or set of clips are slightly faded out on the timeline. They play and edit just fine, but they are slightly faded. In Motion, it signifies that the element has not yet played on the timeline, but I'm wondering what it means in FCPx. Pic attached. Thanks in advance.

It may be due to something else, but do all of these clips have the same audio role assigned? If so, maybe the color for the role/subrole is the "slightly faded" color you see. When you solo clip(s), the other clips turn gray, but this doesn't appear to be what happened (the affected clips don't look gray enough)...
