Removal of hair covering face from image in FCP 03 Jul 2022 01:16 #121207
Hi!
Am working on video material where the speaker's hair has come to too close to the mouth and would like to try to remove some of the hair to improve the image. Would anyone here be able to guide me on how this would be possible using FCP? Thank you, Rebecca |

One option would be to use the SliceX plugin package from CoreMelt which includes an object removal plugin. This lets you select , feather and mask an area to be replaced with another area of the image. If the hair doesn’t cross over the mouth or lips you can probably move another portion of the face skin in its place. Depending on where the hair is located it could be very tricky, but if it is only on the face it should work pretty well. The effect is trackable also.
