Clip is black & listed under "No Data", file has disappeared from Original Media

I was working on a project last night and everything was fine, but when I opened up the app today I found that my video was black and listed under "No Data." The video file had also mysteriously disappeared from the Original Media folder. My library and Original Media folder are located on an external SSD. I didn't mess with the file in the Original Media folder at all and I know for a fact that it was there before I shut down for the night. I have no idea what to do, as I had previously deleted the video file that I originally dragged into my timeline when beginning my project.
