Relinking problem was created by DJesper
Hi, got a problem that I can't really figure what happened. I open my project and there are a bunch of links that are missing. Choose relink files, starts with original media, and then it says that this is already linked as a Proxy file and "relinked original files must be placed in a different location than the proxy files. What shall I do? And what happened?
Thankful for any input.
Sincerely Jesper

Could you give information about where your media is stored? What the folder structure is? Screenshots would be helpful.

But of course. Everything is stored on a hard drive.

What’s inside the Original media folder and the proxy folder? Post screenshots. How where the proxies made? When you go to relink and you go into the Final Cut Original Media folder and select the first file it’s asking for what happens Post screenshot.

This is how it looks. And I ticked the box Proxy when imported. And the failure notice.

It looks as if when it’s telling it’s being pointed to the proxy folder and not the correct Original Media folder.
