I want to import external sound effects in the FCP Sound Effects Library. I strictly followed the manual and copied the files to the Final Cut Pro Sound Effects Library.
But the files only show up when I change the extension from .wav to .caf. It's extremly strange! Open FCP again doesn't help Restart doesn't help Resetting FCP Preferences doesn't help Any ideas? ---

While this does work, I'm not telling my system that these .wavs are 64-bit Core Audio files. Because they're not. This is a workaround for a recent bug.
Please use the feedback mechanism available to get Apple to fix it. |
