Is PSD import broken in the 10.6.2 update? was created by vfxwolf
I can't seem to bring in a PSD file that displays properly on the timeline.  All black.  RGB 8bit.

Can anyone confirm?

Cannot confirm. PSD flat or multilayer are importing correctly.

I had the same problem tonight - imported a psd file and shows up as black in FCP 10.6.5 - will try reimporting as tiff

the attached image is a png - after unsuccessfully trying to import the image as a psd file, I saved the file as both a png and a tif and these had the same problem as the psd - I then saved the same file as a jpeg and bingo, that worked (all files 8 bit rgb with no layers or extra mask channels)
