I'm doing a 30 second ad for Cinema and need to provide the audio as 6 separate files, Ls, L, C, R, Rs and LFE. I have the project set up as Surround, I can see the 5 audio bars, have made adjustments to the panner and can see those changes in the audio bars. What I can'[t figure out, is how to get the 6 separate audio files. I go to export a Master File, and under Roles choose Multi track or even single files, but the best I can get is separate audio roles, nothing is split into the 6 parts.

I don' t understand very well. Do you want to export your 5.1 multichannel track for audio postproduction in a post facility? Most pro DAW can split a 5.1 audio file in 6 audio tracks. (Nuendo does it without problems)
If your FCP multichannel project is ready (mixed and mastered) for exhibition... usually 5.1 audio file go only one track. Decode device will send to respective monitor

Thank you for replying. The project is a 30 second ad for UK cinema. Part of the requirement is that the audio files have to be submitted to 4cine.io The five part split is part of their requirement. From what I can gather all they do is technically check the files to ensure they meet certain ISO standards and then they forward onto a company called DCM where I have already uploaded the video as 750 tiff images. (again, that is a requirement of the cinema process).
There's a bigger part to this story in that we had a professional sound studio do the audio for us, I just had to supply a video to them. They have already submitted the requisite 6 parts to 4Cine and it has all been processed.
The only reason why I am asking this here, is that I'm a bit of a control freak and given that FCPX has these wonderful surround sound tools built in, I would rather like to keep more control of the creative process and do the audio part myself.
Perhaps I need a third party piece of software to take the output from FCPX and split it?

Was curious and so just went through a test.
Can confirm you can't export master surround tracks separately.
Using Roles will not work either because even though you can export roles separately they do not work as 'Mix to Role' but only as 'Clip to Role' if that makes sense.

Thanks for looking into it Carsten. That was also my takeaway from trying it.
