Range Tool doesnt work in synched clip??

Filmed an event and synced multicam clips based on audio, all normal.
Double click the synched clip to open it and edit parts of the clip.

Interesting part, in the opened synced clip, you cant use the range tool? Its frustrating. 
Am I missing something?

Don’t think so. It makes sense that you can’t use it because editing an angle that would effect it’s length would potentially throw out the sync established between angles when the Multicam was created.
What are you trying to do?

Just realised that this was stupid 😂

It works for me in the current version. Activate the Range tool. Stroke a section of the clip in either an open sync clip or in the multicam clip editor. You can then delete the section if you wish.

Try trashing your prefs.

Stand corrected. Have to admit I never tried it.

Just to select ranges to pull down audio peaks, nothing fancy.
