footage not filling frame by 1 pixel? was created by marconoe
Hi all,
I sometimes find by b-roll doesn't cover my a-roll by a veeeeryyy small amount. I typically never notice this in edit it's usually afterwards when watching the export. Selecting Fill under spatial conform doesnt fix this - I have to scale the problem clips to 101% Does't make sense
I've attached an example of where I'm having this issue with details below:
the B-roll is 3840x2160
the A-roll is 1920x1080 (it's technically a compound clip of 3840x2160 footage)
the project frame size is 1920x1080
I'm on FCP 10.6.1 and using a MacBook Pro 16" 2021 Apple M1 Max on MacOS Monterey 12.2.1
Thanks
Marco

It's a Color Wheel Bug. If you apply the Color Board this doesn't happen. I scale the clips 100,1% to get rid of it. Please submit a bug report to apple, so that they fix it, because this bug is around for quite some time.
