Locked-On Stabilization

Premiere has a built-in feature to stabilize an image so that a particular object always remains in the center of the image... or at least in the same place. This is popular at the head, so that the image always moves with the head. This is also popular on social media. I hope you understand what I mean. Now I haven't found this feature in FCP and wanted to ask if there is a simple workaround or a cheap (even better free) plugin for this?

I suspect we'll see this built-in in about 3 to 5 years given Apple's typical development speed on features used in other NLEs.

I believe you can do this with the new tracker in FCP 10.6 or with a $30 plug-in.
