Open position for a Final Cut Pro Support Engineer at VGTV

One of my broadcast clients in Norway is looking for a Support Engineer with deep knowledge of FCP. They have over 150 FCP seats running on a dual 100GbE Jellyfish shared storage system with 1.5 Petabytes of SAS HDD storage for FCP media and 380TB of Flash storage for FCP project and cache files. You would need to work in Oslo but they accept English-speaking candidates.

We have an open position for a Support Engineer in Norway's biggest media house. As a Support Engineer in VG Product & Tech's TV Ops team, you will have central role in the daily audio and video production in VG, VGTV, Aftenposten, E24 and PodMe.

Requirements:
High Final Cut Pro competence
Good competence on the Mac platform
Good knowledge of video and audio production
Knowledge of networking and storage in a modern video and audio workflow

Tasks:
Support of our users in the daily video and audio production. Courses and training of new and current users in groups.
Setup of new machines Testing and rollout of new operating systems and software.
VG TV Ops uses JAMF Pro for management of our users. Knowledge of JAMF is an advantage, but not a requirement. Training will be provided.
