Recommendations for best bundled software additions was created by Wxchaser
I am looking for the best software additions to use in conjunction with FCP 10.6.1
What I am looking for is copyright free music to use in my projects, along with transitions, and other NLE tools that work well and have been used well by creators here.
Looking forward to your feedback.

In my opinion each project is specific and has specific needs.
You get the software you need when you need it.
For example, if you want transitions and don't want to make them in Motion then search them out. MVFX, Ripple etc...
As for music, there are quite a few service if you search the internet.
You get to listen to what they have and make your mind if the service they offer is for you.
If you are looking for something specific and don't find it you can come and ask around. Better if you have a visual example.
Best,

I’d suggest you do a deep dive into FCPX/Motion before you spend money on 3rd party software. Spending a few bucks on training is much more important for the beginner based on my experience. You need to know how FCPX/Motion works and what it can do out of the box.
I suggest Ripple Training for reasonably-priced, well-presented training videos. Check them out on YouTube. I’d be careful of YouTube videos on FCPX/Motion in general though because as an experienced FCPX/Motion user and editor for over 40 years there is a lot of questionable info that is not coherently presented IMHO.
As far as stock music goes I’d check StoryBlocks. I’ve had good luck with their stock footage and music and the pricing is reasonable. There is a certain amount of stock footage and music online that is usable and free. That might suit your needs to get started. You’ll have to search around and see what works for you.

+1 on FCP training to help discover the best workflows for your particular situation. I was an Avid editor for a few decades and had some unlearning to do when moving to FCP.
+10 on Ripple Training -- well presented and easily digestible. I just went through Steve's latest on 10.6.x and learned a few things. No affiliation with Ripple, just a satisfied user.

Generally the free music is not necessarily the best, but it may suffice depending on what you are doing. If you have a YouTube account and channel, there is a large audio library that Google supplies for free for use in any project, royalty free. You can sort music by Genre and download as you need. Here is a video that shows you how to access it.

@anickt I appreciate the detailed response you gave me. I'll look into Ripple for training & StoryBlock. Shout outs to TerryB and Albo for their thoughts and recommendations-along with nods, Or and dgwvideo. The feedback you all gave is very helpful - thank you!

Sorry for my late feedback but dgwvideo's suggestion for free music without copyright worked very well for me in a project this morning.
