WOW...This is such a cool effect - but is it created or filmed?

If you have n't watched Tinder Swindler - one of the best edits I have seen integrating social media posts and browsing.
Tried a lot to get the same effect but no joy... one guy on here said it was all re created manually but I have a feeling that is not possible, or is too much work and probably would be some form of copyright no no.

Really at a loss as to exactly where the cool effect occurred or what I should be looking for. Doesn't look any more complicated than editing various computer screen captures if that's what you're referring to. (I often overlook the obvious.)

Yes the elements, that count up, the movement around the screen, and the recording of the phone elements What-sapp backgrounds incoming calls, social media posts. None of the screen capturing software I have ever used can do this that well. This to me looks like maybe a combo but its impossible to replicate - I even tried my macro lens and it doesn't look as good.

Just use Quicktime Player, iPhone and USB cable. Record everything and then just edit, speed-ups, zooming, and so on. No plugins or filming externally or other effects. Just pure basic editing.
