Resolution / Settings for 4k multicam footage to be used on 1080p timeline

If I'm creating a multicam clip with multiple lots of 4k footage, but I'll be using it in a 1080p timeline what resolution / settings should I use to set the multicam clip as?
Once the MC has been created I want to be able to take advantage of splitting the angles up into new extra "fake angles" by zooming in to 200% on the clips. (I know how to do "fake angles" its just the Mulitcam settings I need to know). I've asked this elsewhere and I'm getting conflicting answers. Thanks in advance.

I do this couple time a week for a local TV interview show. Shot in 4K, sometimes one cam, sometimes two, sometimes three. Final delivery to local TV stations is 720.

I use both HD and 4K multicam clips depending on how I want to edit. Let's say I have one cam shoot. The final product is going to be 720. I make 4 copies of that one clip, place them all in a 720 multicam clip. Then I go into the Angle Editor and change each clip to what I need it for. First one is full wide angle shot. Next is host A close up, next is host B close up, next is the guest close up. So back in my 720 Project timeline, I have my angles ready to live switch and tweak. Since it's just one camera, my options are limited, so I make the most of those limitations.

If I have three full 4K cameras, I'll do a 4K multicam clip, drop that into a 720 (or 1080) timeline, to a quick rough edit for camera angle only, then go through and adjust Spacial Conform/Scale/Position to suit what I need. I'll do one clip that should be a close up, copy, then Paste Attributes to each clip after that should match it. I find this gives me more flexibility in the final edit. But it's all personal taste.

Depends on what you're doing, what workflow saves you the most time. Workflow can be a very subjective things quite often.

Hi Ben
I appreciate you responding but as advised its just the setting for the multicam clip I'm asking about, not how to to fake multicam from a 4k source. I already know how to do this.

If you already know how to do it, what exactly are you asking?

Hi
I appreciate your response and I see I'm probably not making myself clear enough here so I apologise.
I will reiterate by splitting the post up into firstly the question, secondly an additional note, thirdly what I don't need help with.

1)
IF I'M CREATING A MULTICAM CLIP WITH MULTIPLE AMOUNTS OF 4K FOOTAGE (Shot on different cameras), BUT I'LL BE USING THE 4K MULTICAM FOOTAGE IN A 1080P TIMELINE >>>>>>>>WHAT RESOLUTION / SETTINGS SHOULD I USE TO SET THE MULTICAM CLIP AS?<<<<<<<<<
2)
Note: Once the multicam has been created I want to be able to take advantage of copying the angles up into new extra "fake angles" by zooming in to 200% on the clips within the multicam clip. (I do not need help with this)
3)
I know how to copy angles into "fake angles" (Zooming into 200% on a 4k clip) its just the ^^^ Mulitcam settings ^^^I need to know.

I hope this makes more sense.

1, Depends on what you're going to do with it, as I explained.
2, Then make the multicam clip 4K and drop it into a 1080 project.
3, Duplicate the clips in the Browser, then make one muilticam clip from them, and the multiclip settings, well, they're pretty simple. Just make it 4K and don't worry about it.  Give each clip its own Angle number, before hand.
