My waveform monitor RGB parade is displaying in monochrome rather than all the colors. Any ideas why this is happening - I've searched all the preferences and can't find anything related.

Have you got the option 'monochrome' ticked in the waveform monitor view menu?
See attached screen shot how this option should be deselected for the waveforms to show in colour

Thank you Carsten - I should have mentioned that originally - it's always set to "SHOW GUIDES" for sure.

Just to clarify: the important setting for monochrome vs coloured waveforms is the 'Monochrome' setting in the menu. If ticked they are monochrome, if not they are coloured.

Have you calibrated your monitor? If yes, try to revert the display profile to original if that helps?

At least for me, if I calibrate my BenQ PV270 monitor with its own Palettemaster software and using its ICC profile, FCP waveforms are all monochrome. Another monitor, which is Eizo CX271 doesn't suffer this very problem.

Solved! My Display color profile was accidentally changed, updated that and all good now. Thank you @Carsten Orlt and @mikkopalo much appreciated your input.
