I am trying to find someone who still has Final Cut Pro 7, and that can help me convert a fcp-project file to XML, as I no longer have access to FCP 7. That would really help me out of a pickle

That'd be me. Send me the project file & I'll convert it. Mind you it'll have tons of missing file warnings but you can set things straight once you open it in X.
