Kyno acquired by Signiant question :) was created by Glitchdog
Some of you that use Kyno (like we do) may have noticed that it was acquired by Signiant in March, 2021. (There's a short bit on the Kyno blog.) We were still in the process of putting in metadata for our archived footage, but have paused at the moment. Wondering if it will be morphed into some of Signiants other software or whatever.
The price point of Kyno was perfect for our nonprofit, so many unknowns at this point, but I'm wondering if it's too early to consider researching another application? This was our first dive into video asset management and we have loved Kyno, so we are on the fence at the moment.
