Hi! I am new at this forum and I hope to learn a lot from you all and maybe I can be of any assistance for you. Question for now is that I am working on a 4K project and I want to import a foto from foto's. This foto has an app 4K resolution but when imported (drag and drop) it is set back to 1024 x 768. Video is in 4K. How to import the foto in 4K also? Thx!

If the image is in the Photos application, export it from there in the original size to the Desktop and see what the frame resolution is.

Hi Tom. I did export the photo from foto's to desktop, resolution stayed as original. Then I imported in FCP from desktop (instead of drag and drop from foto's to FCP). It worked! Now i have org resolution in FCP. Question still is why this does not work dragon' and dropping'. Thx Tom!

It worked Tom, thx. Is there a reason to bring resolution down when you drag and drop?

FCP's interaction with those other Apple libraries has always been buggy.
