Multicam audio not working

IM working in the latest version of FCP on my M1 MBP, and I've been editing video for a band I did a recording with. Ive edited most of the other songs and everything went great. For some reason, in this project/multicam, I can't select the audio angle to be the audio source. So I am able to cut between the video angles using just the video tool, but at the beginning of the project when I try to set the audio angle to my audio track, it doesn't work. The scissor tool shows red for some reason.
