Good question, because right now you can't import native BRAW files into FCP. However, you can import them via Color Finale Transcoder, which converts them into the ProRes version of your choice. In the case of BRAW, CFT supports the camera metadata. Maybe that's why this exists , in case you create ProRes proxies and then XML over to Resolve for grading/finishing. So it preserves the camera metadata for the roundtrip.
