Compound clip adding a frame at every transition

Compound clip adding a frame at every transition was created by Davidson
Hi ppl.
I am having an issue when attempting to compound clip an entire project. The project has a lot of footage which has already been increased in speed. I want to compound clip everything then increase the speed more. It seems that there is a glitch. The transitions are just cuts, but on every transition in the project, FCPX is adding a seemingly random frame.
Unsure if this is something I am doing wrong or a glitch within FCPX. Any help much appreciated!

Welcome to the forums!
Have you applied Optical Flow to the compound clip? That would explain the ghost frame(s) between the cuts.
- If you have used OF, disable it by setting the Rate Conform to "Floor".
- If you still get ghost frames in between every cut after disabling OF, try exporting the project as a ProRes 422 Master File, import this file back into FCP and apply the speed increase (without using any Optical flow) to the Master File.
