Any work-rounds to make a "vertical" ???

Other than cropping every single image, is there a way to perhaps open a vertical project and drag to fit the clips you drag into the time line so that you can make a vertical from landscape or standard video??

In recent Versions you can do this by editing first in a standard 16:9 project. Then use the duplicate project as function, set it to a vertical format and check Smart Conform. The software will use AI to fit the content into the frame.
