View/set browser range duration? 29 Jun 2021 19:19 #115272

Dumb question: you mark in and out on a browser clip or drag out a range. How do you view the duration of the range or change it by entering a number? Thanks.

Control-d will display the range duration in the main viewer. Use + or - and numbers to change it.

The duration of a selected range is automatically showed at the bottom of the event browser.

Besides the method Terry mentioned to set the duration, you can select the start with SHIFT+I or the end with SHIFT+O, then use JKL keys to reposition the skimmer and hit I or O to reset the In/Out points, either longer or shorter. The duration of the updated length is shown at the bottom of the event browser.
