I have a large library of projects that I like to keep around indefinitely so that I can go back and further mess around with them at later dates. In the meantime though, most of them just sit there. I've recently found that analysis files for these projects are taking up hundreds of gigabytes of storage on my drive. Should I delete these files to clear space?
I realize that deleting them would require the analysis process to start again from scratch the next time I open any one of these projects, but would there be any other negative consequences? Like, would deleting the analysis files undo the actual edits themselves, or would it be a matter of me simply opening the project back up and waiting for FCPX to automatically square things away for me again?
